Lindsay Lohan Wants To Pose NUDE For Her Fashion Line!

Lindsay “hot-mess” Lohan isn’t letting this whole court case slow her down socially or professionally. In addition to attending all the hot Hollywood parties, the starlet is also expanding her business ventures, by adding handbags and accessories to her 6126 clothing line.

While the buzz around 6126 isn’t as big as Lindsay’s personal life, her fashion line has been around since 2008, and her pieces have sold in high end stores such as Neiman Marcus.

But even though we can be a little proud of Lindsay for still focusing on her career despite the mess she’s in, the big question becomes: How does Lindsay posing naked have anything to do with promoting handbags and accessories??

Looks like Lindsay is simply searching for a way to top these scandalous photos used for her last 6126 campaign…

And and even bigger question: How is Lindsay planning on covering up her SCRAM bracelet in these nude photos??

The City Review: Fashion Week Flubs

Whitney Port fashion
Fashion Week. It comes just once in a blue moon, or once every couple of weeks if you're on The City. Last night's episode provided some good drama during it, at least.

For Whitney Port, career opportunities just seem to fall in her lap. After suffering some setbacks in recent weeks, she scored a huge meeting with Maybelline cosmetics.

As our celebrity gossip site points out in its recap of The City, there are few hurdles an aspiring fashionista can't overcome with the weight of a TV network behind her.

Sure, she's good, and sure, she's as appealing personally as she is on the eyes. But are we expected to believe things come this easy in the world of fashion? We don't.

Shockingly (and by shockingly, we mean not at all shockingly), Whit scores an invitation to Miami's Fashion Week next! Naturally, sidekick Roxy Olin will accompany her.

The world of high fashion is just so glamorous and attainable!
To be fair, Whitney at least acts like she cares about her job, unlike Roxy ... or more appropriately, Olivia Palermo. That girl is nothing short of a complete disaster.

Will it finally come back to bite her, though? MTV has seemingly given her a Get Out of Jail Free Card to play at Elle on any occasion she pleases this whole season.

Her luck seemingly never runs out ... or does it? Last night, Louise Roe, a seemingly perfect British transplant, stepped in and usurped some of her responsibilities.

Naturally, this being Olivia, the bar was set so low, Louise had no choice but to amaze Joe and Erin, possibly leading toward the long-awaited dismissal of Olivia.

We know Erin has wanted her gone from day one, but will the higher-ups at Elle finally pull the plug on all their free press from MTV and get rid of this total hack?

If there were a shred of realism in the show, they would, but that's a big if, so we're guessing it's not gonna happen. If it did, though, that would be a good twist.

For all its good qualities, The City needs to prove it's about women trying to make it in fashion, not just advertising for fashion. Sometimes it's just a giant shill.

Olivia can't possibly be employed at a magazine of that stature. It just wouldn't happen. Whitney has made great strides, but her success is debatable at best.

Oh, and in a hilarious, Hills-esque twist, Louise dated Freddie Fackelmayer, a.k.a. Whitney's orange-tanned fake boyfriend from last season. What a small world.

Madonna’s daughter in fashion business

Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes fashion
Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes, has caused quite the Web chatter these days. Between her collaboration on a clothing line with mama M and Macy’s and her shot to fashionista stardom, people seem to think she’s on the path to becoming a model, singer, actress and/or blogosphere fixture. Well, German magazine Quality has picked up on this little trender and graced her image (surely a paparazzi still, not an actual photographed picture) on their July issue, and with it we wonder, in the great game of magazine cover subjects, does a teen of a pop star really sell? Maybe it piques curiosity…or maybe she’s just big in Europe. What do you think of Lourdes’ cover debut?

Lady Gaga pulls out the big guns

The wait is over! The Steven Klein-directed video of Gaga's "Alejandro" has arrived, and it looks a lot like a Steven Klein-directed video for a 1990s Madonna track -- minus the sex appeal. The plot is a bit vague (Catholic cabaret? An homage to men who love fishnets?), but the clear stand-out (literally!) is Gaga's gun bra. She's like a WWII fembot in that killer bustier. Will this look find an audience? Well, perhaps the ladies of the NRA can slip a few of these on to make meetings more interesting. Got nine minutes to spare? Have a look at the new video.

Copycat Fashion

I accessed my Facebook account after a ten day break, and the status updates gave me a crash course on what I missed while on holiday. Besides the tragic news about the plane, rail and bus disasters in India, I learnt that Kites, the movie is an utter waste of Rs 200, and temperatures in Delhi hovered around 44 degrees. But the biggest news on my Contacts List was the opening of Zara, the high fashion store at Delhi’s Select Citywalk mall. “Zara India Rocks!” screamed one excited update and “Cheapest Zara in the world opens in India” said another.

For the uninitiated, Zara is a Spanish clothing brand that specialises in copying the latest catwalk lines, way faster and probably better than the original labels can sell them. Maybe in some exalted circles it isn’t really cool to be seen sporting a Zara label, but hey, if it’s good enough for Sienna Miller and Lara Dutta, it’s good enough for most of us. In Europe, among the high street labels, the craze these days is for celebrity-designed, celebrity look-alike fashion: take H&M, a label that Kate Moss and Madonna design for. But Zara relies on a bunch of anonymous 25-year-olds straight out of design school to churn out a pretty fantastic product, not original maybe, but who cares as long as it looks good?
