Courtney Love - Courtney Love Puts Sex Before Style

Courtney Love removed her hair extensions because she thought they were reducing her chances of having sex. Courtney Love claims her hair extensions stopped her having sex.

The Hole singer - who has a 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean with her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain - admits she was advised to tone down her appearance for the sake of her love life and so deemed it necessary to remove her false locks.

She said: "Someone from the designer Karl Lagerfeld's camp told me that some of the front-row ladies wearing all the kooky stuff don't get laid. She said that if you want to get laid once in a while, then you better stop wearing the kook. I realised she was right.

"The whole time I had hair extensions, I was dry as a bone. Sex is like a good meal and fine wine. It has to be done."

The 46-year-old rocker - who has a history of drug addiction problems - also admitted she advises her friends on the best rehabilitation clinics to enter for treatment.

Speaking about an evening with the late designer Alexander McQueen, she told WWD: "We were at a dinner party, and it was a discussion at the table about the best rehabs in America. We talked about the Promises clinic.

"If you want to know which rehab to go to, ask me. I'm the Conde Nast Traveller guide to rehabs."

J-Woww Shares Her Fashion Tips For Men

J-WowwNot that we like perpetuating the stereotype that, you know, fashion designers are superficial people who are only interested in looks or whatever, but we like to think that most designers really do care about clothes and they way they look when they appear in public.
But not Jenni Farley, better know as J-Woww from The Jersey Shore.
Farley, who appears in a bikini shoot in Maxim’s August issue, said she doesn’t spend all that much time getting herself together. Which really, really surprises us.
“I’m a tomboy. It takes me 20 minutes to get ready. I get ready faster than most of the boys on the show. Take pride in how you look, but never, ever take longer than me to get ready.”
Still, though, there have to be standards, and when it comes to men’s appearance, Farley has them.
On general presentation:
“Everything should be crisp, new, pressed, and not all wrinkled and worn.”
On your feet:
“Number one is socks and sandals. Seriously, guys, knock that shit off. Number two, if you wear flip-flops, I don’t need that weird yellow toe sticking out. I don’t mind a semi-metrosexual, especially when it comes to keeping your toes and nails clean and trimmed.”
On cologne:
One or two squirts at most. When you put on too much, women say, “What’s he covering up?” Also, guys should use lighter scents in summer, heavier in winter.
“Decent advice, but we’re gonna be honest here: The only guys who don’t know this stuff already are the ones with no home training. And we’re not going to date them, anyway, now are we?”

eBay launches a fashion-focused iPhone app

Online auction site eBay just can't stop releasing iPhone apps. Its latest is eBay Fashion, which focuses on new, designer, branded and vintage clothes and shoes available on the site.

It's a free app, and includes impressive search features to find items that have been listed on eBay, including the ability to then share them on Twitter, Facebook and email.

However, there are other features to let you dive deeper into what's available, including eBay's Fashion Vault which offers fixed-price clothing and offers on designer brands. There's also a Closet section (pictured) where you can mix and match items found on eBay into outfits.

This is all good, yet there's one problem for us Brits. eBay Fashion is available in the UK App Store, but right now only shows item prices in dollars - and indeed, appears to be focused on items located in the US. Once it's localised, it'll be much more useful on this side of the Atlantic.

Girls go gaga over big eyes, but the fashion lenses may not be safe

FROM foot binding to corsets and towering stiletto heels, women's pursuit of fashion has often involved an element of pain and risk. Now it is the eye's turn to be manipulated in the name of beauty.

Circle lenses are a new breed of cosmetic contact lenses which are bigger than the iris, giving the wearer a wide-eyed, doll-like look. Originating in South Korea, they are becoming popular among teenagers and women in their early 20s.

The lenses rocketed to fame when Lady Gaga wore them in her Bad Romance video clip. They are now sold on countless websites and an internet video explaining how to to re-create the Lady Gaga look has been watched nearly 10 million times.

Circle lenses also copy the doe-eyed look of some Asian cartoon characters and some have the logos of fashion brands printed on them.

Janice Wong, 22, is an economics student who also runs a fashion and beauty blog, chaigyaru.com.

She wears circle lenses because she admires Japanese and anime-inspired fashion and said many girls from Asian backgrounds want eyes that appear bigger and rounder. "The way they market the lenses is if you buy them you don't have to go through eye surgery to get big eyes," Ms Wong said.

"In Australia young girls are always looking at magazines … and most of the girls have big open eyes," she said. "You think, 'If I want to do that make-up I have to have eyes like that.' "

Joe Chakman, the Optometrists Association Australia's chief executive, said if contact lenses were not fitted to the eye properly they could cause infections.

Unlike normal contact lenses, which can only be supplied with a prescription, there are no restrictions on who can sell cosmetic lenses in NSW. "We have seen people who have had significant vision loss caused by infections from these contact lenses," Mr Chakman said.

Katy Perry Denies Miley Cyrus Diss, Carrie Underwood Wedding of Her Dream

Just four days after expressing her dismay with new-found fashion sense Miley Cyrus developed for her “Can’t Be Tamed” attitude, Katy Perry is holding her hands up and saying “uh-oh-oh-oh” – no, she did not diss her favorite “ho” Miley dearie.

You heard it right, peeps. The “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry denied the rumors that she “insulted” Miley by comparing her to Britney Spears and by calling her a trainwreck altogether. The face-off allegedly happened in the dressing room of the MuchMusic Awards night. Katy released her official statement via her Twitter site “Rumor control: I never said **** about my girl Miley. I love that ho. Mags should stop pitting girls against each other. We all can co-exist!” Can you really stay in the same dressing room for a night with Miley, Katy? Coz we doubt if you are really into feathers and leathers combo that Miley Cyrus is recently lugging about recently.

Singer Carrie Underwood is now a wife to hockey player Mike Fisher! The former American Idol winner beamed that it is her dream wedding come true in a bridal entourage set in an exclusive resort in Georgia

Rumors have swirled that her dream wedding costs $500,000. WOW! Why so expensive? Well, their ceremony will be held at the The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Georgia then they booked the entire hotel for the night, that’s worth $268,000!!! OMG! Her guests must be so happy that they were invited in this grand and important event in Carrie’s life. She even planned to have her guests pampered by paying the hotel bills for them. Ha!

The soon-to-be-couple spent their honeymoon in the Presidential Suite, again how much is that? $4,000… and it had a dining room and a living room which can accommodate 16 people. Why would they get a room that can sit 16 people? There’s only two of them, not unless they want to invite others to spend their first night as a couple with them… that would be too awkward. LOL!

Did Simon Cowell attend her wedding? We can’t wait for the wedding pictures!
