Lola’s real name is Lourdes Leon and she is called Lola by her family. She recently blogged on the clothing line's website that the looks will be 80s-inspired and luckily “the 80's are another huge obsession of mine.” It is a coincidence that Lola’s mother had gained name and fame in the 80s.
Critics are saying that at 13, Lola can’t be a good designer but I refuse to buy this theory. Fashion blogger Tavi is only 13 and she is simply amazing! In Lola’s case on thing is certain that critics will treat her harshly because the little girl’s design talent is just riding on the coattails of her famous mother. Some critics are of the view that that the pop singer is using her daughter's youth to give credibility to her junior line.
